Today I am thankful for the story Big Dog Little Dog by PD Eastman. One of my favorite childhood books and it came in handy today to prove a point. Love it.

Today I am thankful for these little red cups.  It's the little things in life.

Today I am thankful for warm fuzzy socks on chilly mornings.

Today I am thankful for the running hug from Jake upon waking.

Today I am thankful that the kids only put one thing each on their Christmas wishlist--something they decided to do on their own. Thankful that they haven't been consumed by the commercial side of Christmas.

Today I am thankful for a yummy lunch out with Nana and Jake--thankful for that special time together!
