Today I am thankful that our house is decorated and gifts are all purchased...now to spend the next 4 weeks enjoying the Christmas season!

Today I am thankful to watch the pure joy on Anna and Jake's faces as we brought down the Christmas decorations from the attic. Such excitement!

Today I am thankful that we keep Christmas very simple in our house so we can actually enjoy the season and the true meaning of Christmas!

Today I am thankful for a healthy and loving family, amazing friends, a cozy house to call home, and beautiful blue skies today to allow for a family football game in the backyard.

Today I am thankful that Jake got to spend the day at school with Daddy--something our kids LOVE to do! Also thankful that vacation started this afternoon-yeay for family time!

Today I am thankful for the opportunity to go to the movies with a friend on a Tuesday afternoon! Such fun!

Today I am thankful for Jake's wonderful preschool and watching him enjoy his "Thankful Feast" with all his buddies.

Today I am thankful for a relaxed Sunday--church, boardgames, football, naps, and family time.  :-)

Today I am thankful for a fun kickoff to Anna's basketball season! And thankful that Brett is a super dad and coach! :-)

Today I am thankful for a fun night out celebrating a good friend's birthday!

Today I am thankful for a quiet, at-home day. So thankful that we get to play games, snuggle, and laugh all day!

Today I am thankful for my MOPS group.  A great time with some great friends!

Today I am thankful that both our kids say "cheykains" instead of keychains.  It might be my most favorite thing ever.

Today I am thankful for a super flexible job that I can do from home.  Doing something I love while also being a stay at home mom.  Pretty amazing!

Day 11

Today I am thankful for all the men and woman who serve our country.  Also thankful for a peaceful Sunday morning and snuggle time with the kiddos.

Today I am thankful for a fun end of season celebration for both Jake and Anna's soccer teams. :-)

Day 9

Today I am thankful that 100+ families benefited from the Mobile Food Pantry in our town.  Also thankful for the one amazing citizen who personally donates all the food each month.

Day 8

Today I am thankful for a husband who at 6:30am snowblows our driveway and front path as well as our neighbors on either side and still makes it to work on time.

Day 7

Today I am thankful that Anna was home sick from school and isn't stuck on a bus trying to get home in this snow.  A blessing in disguise.  Also thankful that Anna is much better--a day of rest is what she needed!

Today I am thankful for the love and generosity of our families.

Today I am thankful for family and friends who make me laugh and smile.  That makes it a good day.

Today I am thankful for having a warm safe place for my family and I to stay during this storm recovery.  So very very thankful.

Today I am thankful for all the CL&P crews and National Guard who are working hard to restore power back to our town.

Today I am thankful for Alex, age 7, and his full head of hair after battling both lymphoma and leukemia since age 3 1/2.
